crew fell apart, trying to scramble backup bodies on short notice!! Everybody seems to be too busy for trip to the edge, just "Knot Right" on 68 if we find a couple guys

back from day trip today. will post better report later. we got 4 yft all about 50 lbs. hooked a white marlin but lost after a few spectacular jumps. too tired to tell more.

but west atlantis and atlantis both had hot evening and morning bites according to radio chatter. everything was caught. lots of yfts, heard about white marlin and a blue marlin sighting, and a mako on the troll...also heard about a bigeye.

We tripped on Wed into Thurs and i can confirm reports(W Atlantis). We had three YT on as soon as our spread hit the water and two to the boat, slow after that but it was almost noon. We had a White on for about 5 min and at least one more in the spread later that day. We got a couple more just before dark and set up for the night with two sword baits and 5 shark baits including a live blue. We grabbed one more YT about an hour into dark on a weighted Sluggo and had to fight it to the front of the boat where it was pooned an put in the box. We set up on tons of bait all night and managed two long drifts with not even a sniff. We pulled the spread and set up for the troll...10 minutes later two more in the box. Slow pick the rest of the day. Total was eleven Yellowfin in the boat all around the 50lb mark.

I forgot....we had one knock down around a high flyer we thought was a Mahi but every one we hit with some chum and a bait did not produce.
