    NDBC On The Water Servicing Buoys

    Guys, we have crew on the water as we speak heading out to replace the 44025 Islip and 44066/TT4 buoys and service the others.
    Will update tomorrow on status.

    Here is the link to the main NDBC page graphically showing all the buoys around the world.
    Here you can zoom on an area and see what buoys are near by or of interest to you.

    Here is the link to the NDBC buoy page with info on 44008 -Nantucket buoy.

    Searching-If you know the number of the buoy you want type it in the narrow white box in the upper left.
    Right under this is "Station Search". Click this and you will a full listing of buoys.

    Zone Forecasts-Further down the main page under the buoy description and location you will see "Latest NWS
    Weather Forecasts. This forecast is for the zone where this particular buoy is located.

    One thing the government does is give very good detailed info on things. At least you can see some value from the taxes we pay.
