Nat Geo "Wicked Tuna" program

Seeing lots of tidbits regarding this spring's showing of the tuna program that was filmed onboard some of the tuna boats ex Gloucester. Pehap's we can keep this page for listing info on show. Pehaps the participants can fill in the blanks for us as time comes along. Just saw PEW has already chirped in with thier BS. The good news is that Nat Geo if looking to talk to the ABTA "senior" members regarding the bs that will surley fly over this program......keep the faith...Tommy

Still no trailers or previews or dates for the show yet. But plenty of articles bad mouthing it already. The Huffington post writer did a total 180 after learning more about the show from Nat Geo higher ups. I've heard mid feb for the show so we should start getting some clips and whatnot shortly. Hopefully the show will hush any of the fallacies out there about our fishery.

What you've found doesn't look so favorable because any of the journalists who have written pieces about the show have no idea what they are talking about. take the two Huffington post articles for example.......

amazing what a little education will do. Nat Geo has also gotten in touch with ABTA and is going to chat with Rich to further THEIR own knowledge in which they will relay into the show.

show will be a hoot. Friend of mine (who is in show) was telling me some "stuff" last night on phone. had me crying I was laughing so hard......guess being a "STAR" is hard work....lol ( will get you pumped up for season though)

I still was not impressed by the follow up article, seems they were still looking at this show from the left angle instead of what these fisherman have to go through to earn a living.
