Nantucket Bluefin Blast results

[Fishing Report]

The tournament took place Saturday and Sunday the 11th and 12th of September, the forum for the tournament is a release tournament. The most releases wins. Boats must have a picture of a Bluefin tuna, the leader and the number of the fish, IE one finger in the picture is fish number one, ETC.... With new NMFS regulations we had to move the format of the tournament from a heaviest fish weighted in to most releases. In this manner anyone with a federal tuna permit could compete in the tournament and have a chance to win. Twenty five boats entered. Slip 14 and about 8 other major sponsors helped out to make this event a success. Miller High Life, Nantucket boat basin, Boat basin authentic shop, triple eight, On the water magazine.
