Mudhole Bite?

Fished Northwest of Coxes and then trolled to the ledge and west Saturday AM. Tough troll with many weeds but managed a small BFT on jet head close in. Released that fish as activity through the day gradually got going. By 2PM had breaking 30-50lb BFT in all directions. Finicky and popping up and down quickly on large piles of bait. Drifted down on tight school and got good 45lb BFT on a 9 in Ron-Z. All in all great day with spectacular show of BFT on top but had to work for the hookup.

Awesome, 2 pm seemed to be the same time they started coming up for us as well.

Picked up / released a small BFT amid pods of dolphins in the middle of the Hole yesterday 0700 on the way home from a busted Canyon trip. (ran into issues S. of Coxes) Had to maintain trolling speed on the way home anyways...
