What do you guys think?
I liked Randy a couple years ago but all the BS he was bringing this season got old really quick. Big talent to lose but with all the waves he was making, maybe this move is for the best.

Trying to be optomistic... hard to make up for the 50 TD's he brought in three years. No doubt the offense will be far less explosive without him. But... a grinding, even plodding offense that eats clock might be exactly what the young defense needs.
Typical Belichick... buy into the team 100% or pack your bags. Bodden, Thomas, Maroney and now Moss.
If not for football Randy would be using that speed he has to run from the cops !
Like Terrell Owens he's a headcase !
Mark my words the Vikings will get a great year out of him on & off the field, year 2 a bit less, year 3 the honeymoon will be over !
Ask anyone who knows me I was pissed the day we signed him !
Never wanted him !
We went from having two of the greatest in Tim Brown & Jerry Rice a few years to signing that friggin thug !
I also said the Pats would get 1-2 great years out of him then he will be his old self he was with the Vikings & Raiders.

I think welker was much more valuable then moss.
With the dropped/bobbled balls that we have seen from him this year I am not sure of the loss in output. It also seemed that most of the touchdowns were not in clutch situations, that we would have won without his catches or ended up losing anyway, like with his one handed hotdog catch against Jets. What I am more concerned about is the loss of his ability to draw cover, opening opportunities for Welker and Hernandez, etc. We may find our other receivers less open.
I would rather see players here that want to be here. Randy turned into Manny this year.......
twofinbluna, did you see the cape cod times the day before yesterday, with the article about the midwater trawlers being 40% over their quota, thats 3.7 million pounds over. We have to shut them down now. Thanks, Buddy
PS, yes we will miss Moss but hopefully get a great draft choice.
Addition by subtraction.....and a draft pick for someone who never would have re-signed. What is wrong with these guys that they can't be thankfully modest for their talent and opportunity.
And yes the Raiders will always s%$k...even if they get good. That namesake Seaworthy 28 however definately does not s#$k!![]()
