Montauk Offshore Help

Well my wife and I are away on our vacation...Started in Essex CT, and we are currently in Norwich Ct. Leaving for Newport RI tomorrow and will be getting to Montauk NY on Sunday. My fishing buddy and his wife are meeting us in Montauk and I want to make a run to the deep to see if we can get lucky with some tuna if the weather permits.

Does anyone have any intel on the YFT fishing in that neck of the woods? We are staying at Star Island Yacht Club and will be there till Thurs. Stop by for a brew if your in the area.

"Ruthless" 34' Pursuit Express.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Very cool... thanks for the info.

I actually didn't bring anything with me.... but my fishing buddy has eveything in his truck. The GTEK will be in the spread... I can't wait to try it.

I hear there were a few better Yellows caught a touch east of the Tails on the last weather window, the smaller one are closer to the Dip.. You dont need to run all the way to the drop stop at the break...
