Just want to get a heads up if anyone else is gonna be out there............... Callin for 2-4 fters, Put the boat on a slip at Mill Wharf Marina today, sadly could not get out there becuz of work. Heard some stuff about fish near some high flyers out East at the dock today and saw a 55inch fish brought in trollin rubber on the southern edge halfway between SEC SWC. What's everybody else thinking?

I think fish were everywhere today. East of the Bank, West of the Bank, South of the Bank but they were only eating live (Ballyhoo/Half-beaks) and one of them ate our Root beer Bar early 58" but the rest of the day they just bounced off the boat. Congrats to "Tulsa Time" for their first doubleup, they got an over and an under for a rec limit all at once. They only kept the bigger one and let the little guy go. I got 400 pounds of fresh chum off the Dragger this afternoon so we are going to try the chunking in the haul back trick tomorrow. Not to many guys got them this way today but at least one market fish was caught doing this. Trolling does not work in the dragger's but it is getting them out east. I don't think anyone got them on Live bait out east today? The fish are focused on the Half beaks and the dragger's leftovers.

Hey Greg, thanx for the info. Yeah I saw Tulsa Times at the fuel dock today, congrats to them. I came down to fuel up for tommorow but I was very jealous when I saw there fish on the deck and I knew I had to get into work.

Fish were certainly uncooperative yesterday. It was a great display of fish in all sizes but they would not eat anything we put in front of them. They were literally bouncing off the boat. We were even using live bait with no results. The number of boats on the SEC may have been a factor as I have never seen that many boats concentrated in one area. The wind forecast brought everyone out. Nice not having to bang through 4 footers for a change.

Hey capt, FWIW the fish we found slightly east would eat jigs, and ignored our live bait. Seems like they were ignoring most everything people were throwing at them, the radio chatter in the area we wetre fishing didnt sound like a ton of people were hooking up. we got four of them, all too big for us to keep on a rec permit. A buddy boat in the same area got 1 or 2 on jigs and 1 on a live bait @ 3:00 pm.

you had to give them a rather unusual presentation with the jigs, but they would hit them. we got 1 an hour before the PM tide change and 3 more in the 1.5 hrs after it, when the bite really turned on.

good luck today, I hope the dragger trick works for you,
