How's anybody doin' over at "Wally-World"? I've been gillnetting once in July and there were some, but not big numbers. I got spoiled last year when they were all over Southie and Dot Bay. I'm planning to start there Mon. AM any observations or tips would be appreciated! -Tom C. IHTBB

Last few years we only let out about 1/2 of our 100ft gill nets and filled up instantly. let out all of the net and we had a mess clearing it for ever!
This year using 200 ft net, a good set we get a dozen.

"so you're saying there's a chance?!?"

Good luck to everyone, I'm going out Friday and Sunday and will let you know if there is anything better to report.

AM outgoing tide 4-6 per 100' set...not bad, and they're huge...my "problem" was I went bass fishing and only got two decent runs all day. Well, I guess I'm not looking for the small/medium bass anyway! -IHTBB

4-6 per set, well I guess that's better than nuttin'. I might have to buy some worms and work the tube and worm if I run out of luck. I'm expecting them to be in THICK this weekend, I can smell them from here on Broadway.

Thanks for the update IHTBB
