I just finished editing this video for my good friends in PEI Canada. Everyone that was at the MBG Seminar has already seen this video on big screen! Unbelievable footage of feeding giant bluefin 500-1200lbs. Watch these fish eat right off the side of the boats. Video was taken in Prince Edward Island, Canada with "Bruce Brothers Charters" in 2010. Volume up!!!

Here is a video my brother, Bryan, put together of an 800lb bluefin he got with some friends on Halloween 2010. Very rough seas by the end of the fight. Struggled getting the fish in the boat. What a slob. Enjoy.

I had sooo much fun just feeding Giants I did not need to catch one. But Jamie and Troy have promised to keep taking me for open season until I get my first 1000 pounder. If you have the choice of driving 1/2 hour in the car and then 12 hours in the boat or 12 hours in the car and 2 minutes in the boat? I would take the later. Mind you for sport not for sale.

Break it down in price PEI vs Georges or Canyons. For recreational.

12 hours steam in boat fuel 600 hp engine about 150 Gallons one way = $600 each way $1200 total
1/2 hour in car = $20
36 hours at sea plus I have to clean everything and I had to prepare everything.
Cold Food, No sleep and your tackle expenses = x4 people $300
Go to work the next day with toothpicks in your eyes.
Total $1520

Go to PEI 600 miles in car 12 hours at grandma pace = $120 fuel each way $220
full day fishing with Troy and Jamie Bruce = $1000 Catching Bluefin in a 5 minute steam. Did I mention I do not have to clean or prepare anything?
Hotel and food ( warm bed and shower) for for people = $300
40 hours traveling and fishing with a nice warm bed and a fantastic dinner and breakfast. Get home ready to go to work the next day. I forgot to mention for lunch on the boat we had the best Hot Seafood chowder ever. Made by the captains wife.
Total $1520

Money is the same but peace of mind and comfort are on opposite ends of the spectrum. When it comes to having fun I will take comfort over misery. But there is something to be said for that thrill of adventure when you assume all the responsibility your self.
