Here are some pictures of this years Kids
We took a great group of guys out for a 1/2 day tuna trip.
06:30 Depart Scituate harbor
07:30 Arrive at the fleet on SWC
07;31 Drive past the fleet
07:45 Put the rigs in east of the corner
08:00 Fish boil on the close right rigger
09:30 I think every boat has hooked up Including a kayak but not me?
09;35 Boil on the short rigger again.
10:20 I am getting very frustrated watching all these tuna jump and no bites.
10:21 "Fish On" Trick or Treat in the wash. looks like a double coming keep the Riggs in.
10:25 No double we have a nice fish on the 130# all the guys are taking turns.
10:50 we Land a nice BFT in the 150 to 200 pound range.
11:30 heading for the Barn
12:30 Just sprinkle a little water around and get me a cup of coffee.
PS the Kayak Caught a fish estimated about 200 pounds on a spinning rod. If anyone knows this kid get some pictures. I heard this was his second big fish in his kayak. 09:30 Departed for a short trip with a friend.
10:00 Arrive at the H Buoy and saw many birds diving on Mackerel.
10:01 "Rigs in" tuna are jumping all over.
11:00 "Rigs out" this S%^&cks they are not biting rubber
11:05 Switch gears put a live Mack on the hook
11:06 The fish disappear
11:45 "Fish On" big boil !
11:45.5 Fish Off hook pull
12:30 Head back to the barn
12:35 Driving back to the house before the wife knows I wasn't doing the yard work.
14:00 Wife comes home to see the leaves are all gone![]()
Had Taylor and his friend Bill from Mass Maritime out for a late morning run.
10:00 Left Scituate Harbor
11:00 Arrive at SWC
11:01 "Rigs in"
12:00 Rigs are still in Tuna popping in one's & two's all over.
12:01 all the other boats are complaining that these fish have not been biting all day
13:00 Still trolling and watching fish pop.
13:05 I spot some pushing fish and I have a good angle on them. I tell Taylor and bill to get ready.
13:06 Taylor has the camera on the rigs.
13:10 I am creeping on this school of fish and we have a couple of fish around 400 pounds push and pop right in front of us.
13:15 Swing and a miss on the left.
13:16 Swing and a miss on the long.
13:17 Swing and a "Fish On" short right "Trick or Treat" Taylor has it all on film.
13:18 Bill is strapped in and fighting stand up on a 50 Shimano.
13:45 We land a nice 60+ BFT
13:46 Heading back home.
14:46 Just sprinkle a little water around and get me a cup of coffee.

It was a pleasure to meet you and see the Fortuna beauty! Glad to hear you say that Monday was a tough day....I think we just got lucky with one dumb fish out there!
I will take you up on the May tuna and maybe we can get on your boat in the spring!

The Fortuna will be going out Thursday Nov 19th and Friday Nov 20th
Thursday's mixed Party has Room for 1 or 2 more.
Friday has room for 2 more a party of 2 is looking to split 1/2 day morning bite.
