    On Fire!!!

The Tuna are on fire on the bank and on the backside of the cape. large School and Small medium tuna for miles from SW corner to the eastern edge and from Race point to the Golf Balls. We also caught some glimpses of fish over 73".

Today we destroyed our Squid bars on the backside with fish from 44" to 70". Taylor is going to be rebuilding bars for me this weekend thats for sure. Multiple tuna where striking the bars after we had hooked fish and where ripping the bars off the mainline. We where reeling a fish when another fish was trying to get the squid bar we where reeling.

A Crazy Day with miles of fish one of the largest concentrations of BFT I have ever seen. The report at the dock was, this happened in many places. All I can say is WOW!

And to top it off only three other boats around and we had it all to ourselves. One commercial guy and a scallop dragger and two charter guys and we where very courteous to each other.

Now sprinkle a little water around and get me a cup of coffee.

Low 50's The Bite today was slow (lock jaw!) but there are allot of fish all over the Bank and the Bar. We got a 65" today around 11:00 after watching fish jump for four hours. Frigging cold out there this afternoon. Sprinkled the water around and it froze and Needed to boil the coffee to get warm. Anybody need help this winter down south like Costa Rica or some warm Island? I got to get out of here this winter!!

Agreed on the temps this afternoon- it dropped like 15 degrees in 2 minutes (or at least it seemed that way).

We hooked up about 15 minutes before you on a feisty little 47" (on Taylor's Good 'n Plenty).

    10/22 Sarahs hole revisited.

Today we had the pleasure of bringing the famous Sarah out fishing again. We started on the west side of the bank and immediately hooked a nice 60" fish. Sarah asked if we would name another spot after her, so we named this spot Sarah's number 2 hole.

A couple of my friends caught Tuna less than three miles off of Duxbury beach in the last couple of days. I have not fished on this side of the bay in a long time. I think I will give Stony Bar a shot this week. Another friend of mine saw Giants busting near the old H buoy. Who Knows maybe some old school spots will turn hot this fall.
