He simply told the story as it happened. It sounded like a great day where everyone had fun. Only a really negative person could read that post and be insulted.

Hey Kamo Gari, loosen your chi a bit pal. I know Greg. I'm positive none of that was meant off-color. And like he says, you either "like me or hate me", but either way I crack myself up.

That last fish report was freeking hilarious Greg. How did the gun jam?

Your story probably went over fine with those used to buying and enjoying tales of simple, hokey clowns living out the stereotypes (pick your country), but not so well with those of us who have actually been around the globe a bit.
If you where on the trip you would know that I spent some time in Japan and am very fond of many Japanese people. These people Japanese or not would have had the same story. Sorry you felt persecuted but I am the least prejudice person you would meet. If you can't make fun of yourself who can you make fun of. if you read closely the storry was in regards to language barrier and nothing else.

July 14th 2009

05:00 : The charter shows up at the dock Three women and one man.
05:15 : The charter explains one of the women is pregnant but not fishing is it OK for her to go?
05:16 : I explain as long as there are no Baby parts hanging out it will be OK.
05:17 : I also explain I have no fear of blood and I can even check to see if she is dilated.
05:18 : On a serious note I would not take her if it was at all rough and she must remain seated to avoid falling. Today was real flat calm.
06:15 : One of the girls is hot for the mate and tells him what happens on the boat stays on the boat.
06:16 : Kerry is Hiding in the wheel house afraid of being attacked.
07:00 : We arrived 35 miles from Scituate harbor to find many birds working.
08:30 : Fish On" The only male angler steps up. he won the number from the hat.
09:00 : Landed a nice 70" fish the angler learned real quick and my captain in training ( Dockrat Patrick 14 years old) handled the boat like a pro.
09:30 : Dead Zone even the cell phones weren't ringing.
11:30 : Can you hear me Now?
13:30 : Found large schools of Moving Bluefin with many large fish in the Schools 1000's of fish pushing and rolling but not biting.
14:30 : Had enough of the teasing (from both the fish and the Girls)
16:00 : Just sprinkle a little water around and get me a cup of coffee.
