Today I had out Henry and Jimmy Andy and Capt.Adrian. We started off by the inlet and was coming up empty handed so we switched gears and went out looking for the BUNKER pods. And boy did we find them!!! MILLIONS of them I'd say about 1 acre of them the only problem was they were being ATTACKED by 12 lbs Blues!!!
They were moving west at about 5 mph trying to escape the Blues Teeth !!!
We tired everything , weighted them with a trail NG, Went up ahead of the school NG tried behind the school NG, Middle NG, No weight NG, Snag let em hang NG, Snag let em drop NG. Everyone was Bitten in two or inhaled by the BIGGEST SOB'S Blues. We released all but 1 that was so badly gut hooked he wasn't gonna make it, so he became Shark Bait.
After about 2.5 hours of this we had enough, we even went looking for a different pod but found none east or west of that one... So we headed into the bay and Flukes for maybe 1 hour producing 1 21.5" Keeper and a bunch of shorts. It was and Incredible sight to see I shot so UNDWEWATER VIDEO of the Bunker check it out.
