Anyone heard of any macks mving in yet, i am thinking of goin south of gay head this week looking to load up on some baits for the season, but havent heard of any reports yet.

Bigeye I have heard nothing about mackeral anywhere. We are leaving Quincy on Sunday aboard the Sea Saw and will be looking for them out around Stellwagon. I will let you know what we find.

Pogies are up in B Bay, Squid also but did not run over any Macks yesterday and we covered plenty ground all over the bank and east. It shoulde be any day. I can never remember Pogies up here this early and the water is till colder than my ex wifes heart

Bigeye, The boat I was supposed to fish on Sunday for Mackeral/Cod never left the dock because of the nasty sea conditions and the lack of any credible reports thus far. I was on the bank Saturday but have not heard anything about mackeral.

Dont count on the macks didnt show this time stayed out on the 100 line
heading north were around in january and left mild winter

heard from a commercial guy down in pt pleasant there were a few around the glory hole any one heard about that?

Bluefish are in in RI and eastern LI, a sure sign that the macks ain't gonna show up.
