looking for a used boat in North East

I'm looking for a used smooth riding 25 to30 foot boat with a sharp dead rise 20%+ for fishing Long Island Sound, and some off shore trips, so it needs to be good on fuel and a dry good ride and not to old , my budget is around $30,000. K + -
    Any advice would be appreciated

    Look at my boat!

    For Sale

The price is right there and it has been a proven fish raiser for the two seasons that I have owned it! Please let me know what you think.

My buddy is selling his boat and is anxious to make a deal as his new boat has arrived. The boat is in great condition, fully rigged and caught a pile of tuna on Stellwagen last year.

It's a 23' Bradley I finished it off in 2004,I had only fished it for about a month then I slipped getting out of the shower & fractured 5 bones in my right ft.I thought it would only lay me up for a month or 2 but I fell getting out of a van at the V.A. hospital & fractured 2 more bones, same ft.!On my last trip to the ft. Dr. when I returned home I went to get out of the truck I slipped on the ice fractured a couple more bones & had to have the 5 th surgery on the ft,I lost 2 years & had to stare at the boat out the window, that sucked! The boat is comfortable fishing up in the bay, like any boat you get in 3 to 5 ft seas your going to pound at normal cruising speed but I usual cut her back to 12 to 14 kts. & it's not a problem, windows stay dry.The only reason I am selling the boat I am going 40 to 60 miles out & I just want a bigger boat under me,the GOM can be a mean *****!I'm always looking for people to go fishing with me so anyone interested in the boat bring your rod & reel & we'll take a ride!

ooh, tough questions Ill have to take a look into my logs to figure those out. I dont have a flow scan so the fuel burn #s were figured out on a trip from the cape when I didnt do any fishing, just strait running- I believe I was getting 1.2 mpg at 27 knts. I never run the boat wide open so I have no numbers for that, but wide open I hit 37 knts with a full load of fuel(160 gallons or approx 1280 lbs)

Last october the engine was replaced due to a manifold rotting through and allowing saltwater into the block. A painfull and costly replacement, but well worth it. The boat is VERY clen and looks more like a 2006. Im actually sad to be selling her, but being a three boat owner is not too cool for anyones wallet. Feel free to call me if you want details, Fred 617-515-6862
