Looking to fish off/inshore Martha's Vineyard Sept 2-5

I'm heading to Martha's Vineyard with the family for a little vacation and hoping to get in some fishing. I'm an experinced offshore angler and have run my own boat to the gulfstream out of NC. Not much experince out of the NE, except for some trips out of Montauk.

I'm looking to do anything and hoping to find a private boat to join where I can share the expenses and duties. I'm afraid a full charter isn't in the budget now..

Willing to share expenses, wash, bait, clear lines, make coffee, clean, and chamois the boad clean...

If anyone has recommendations I would be much appreciative.

What a great attitude! I know alot of guys(unfortunately none on the Vinyard) that would love to have a die hard like you on their boat that would add value and contribute to the whole experience.

Hopefully someone here will take you up on the offer. If you said you were vacationing on Block Island, I know I could hook you up.

Ditto. I usually go by Menemsha/Gay Head on my way offshore. I could pick you up at one of the docks if they're still there.

I would have been happy to take you out. Just last friday we picked up a freakishly large Mahi just south of the Claw.

Menemsha is one of the coolist places on earth.

PS: buy some steamers from Stanly at Menemsha fish market. He lost three boats in that fire and could use the business.

How's the weather looking from the Vineyard/Cape area for late this week / weekend?

The noaa website is getting me a bit depressed, but wondering if the local outlook is any better?
