Anyone catch the show on discovery last night???
Pretty cool to watch them out on our home waters.
The dragger should be interesting.
Yes? No?

Yep, I did, and for a change, I enjoyed the fact that it was fairly realistic with not alot of B.S. included. Maybe I also enjoyed the fact that it is from our home waters, and all of us have fished those areas. We have pulled alot a mahi from under Captain Bligh's highflyers for sure!!! I've seen his gear in alot of different places from the 50 Fathom curve to down east of of the Tails and over as far as West Atlantis. Capt. Bligh has saved a trip or two for us!!

I made 6 trips on the CE back in the late 80's was somthing I always wanted to work on a big fishing boat I liked the dragger more than Lobstering but it all kinda suked when I could make 50K in 40hrs a week an be home every night so I went back to being a Toolmaker.....Now I wish I was fishing again.....LOL
It's all seems like so much fun until you have to do it for a living . Then you don't get to pick your days and things can turn to $hit real quick. On the other hand even working 16 or more hours at a stretch if it's something you love Nothing in this world is better. Oh yeah and there days out there that are Beautiful, FAC.![]()
I did a Transit trip on the Ingtoffer outta newport and I swept fish across the deck w/ a broom into the conveyer and saw the sunrise 3 times before I got to get some shut eye
