I would like to try a planer with a seawitch/hoo this summer for bluefin,but all my rods have hi vis line would i have to respool 1 pole or what size leader. I will be running bars so i dont want to spook them with the hi vis line down deep.

you could probably just run a topshot of low vis mono and be fine

Im assuming your talking an in line planer? I run one on an 80 with 130 jerry brown. You want something that wont stretch much. You still need a topshot of mono/floro of 150 feet anyways.

Thanks guys,goodnyou i would be using a planer of a cleat.No 80 just 50s would like to try with out a lot of investment but you no how that goes.
