    LETS GO FISHING

Well after a long, cold and snowy winter, its time to go fishing!!! First trip of the season tomorrow.

    Boats all cleaned up,

    Inside is cleaned and polished,

    Rods are ready and set,

All safety gear has been checked and gone threw,

Most importantly Bar is fully stocked!!!

Well wish us luck boys, hopefully I got a good report for you later.

Left a message for you today dude...good luck tomorrow...hope you catch a ton of the bottom critters with all of those special rigs you've been making up

The boat looks locked and loaded...not sure what to say about Dorothy Hammel in the Gumby suit though

If anyone is in the northern Mass, NH, or southern Maine area, you've got to look these guys up if you want to get on the fish- they always find them.

Looking forward to hearing more about the adventures on Island Bound this summer!

Ok, so on today’s trip I got good news and bad news. Good news, we marked and caught lots and lots of herring. Bad news there was to much herring. We kept snagging them with jigs, and couldn’t get threw to the cod and the haddock like we would have like to have. I think there was just to much bait on the ledge to get them feeding on what we had to offer. The fish we did catch had fully bellies. We moved several times and just couldn’t get away from the bait. Over all it was a slow day with a slow pick on keeper haddock , short cods and redfish. One very cool thing we did see was a submarine cruising on the surface, not something we see on the water everyday.

Sorry it wasn't a banner day Kev, but that's good news that there's some bait out there...hopefully the mid-water rapists can stay away and all that bait will mean a good year for us all.
