The Labrador left Mill Wharf at 500 this morning and headed for the southeast corner of Stellwagen Bank looking for cod. On the way, Sashamy gave me some great info a prime cod spot - thanks Doug. We had a good hearty group of Mass Bay Guides anglers who drove up from Maryland on a three day fishing excursion. The first two days they spent scup fishing out of Hyannis, where they had great success. So the pressure was on to give them the best day of cod fishing possible out on the bank... we got into the fish early, it was a slow pick, they worked hard for their catch, but everyone caught their limit of cod, plus we got some nice pollock and to our surprise, a small halibut - but we had to throw it back since it was under the size limit.

All in all it was a great day out on the bank for me, my new mate Naz, and our anglers.

Get your poles ready everyone - we saw some tuna on the way home!
