    JSeas Heading South

Leaving on next good weather window and running from Falmouth to Hilton Head SC. Looking forward to the trip and extending my fishing season through the year. JSeas will be returning to Falmouth sometime in May 2011!

Any advice or knowledge on offshore fishing off coast of SC would be great!

Safe trip J. You stopping for good in HH or continuing south? Heading to Islamorada in a couple weeks to visit my boat and get the winter started...

    MarkP:

I am leaving the boat in HH for the winter. My in-laws have a home right near HH Harbor.

Offshore in SC is not to exciting, especially in the winter. Decent grouper bite around ledges, maybe a few wahoo or blackfin. Inshore is good though so it makes up for the offshore. PM sent.

Can't help you with the SC bite but I'll be in HHI over Christmas to visit my parents if you need crew for exploratory purposes!

    Reel Pursuit:

Dunno if I will be there over Christmas. Maybe. I will let you know if I make it down.

FYI, the boat I owned before the Ocean was a 3070 Pursuit. That boat was GREAT.

    Jim-
    No problem, keep me posted.
I've heard about your Pursuit 3070 thru mutual acquaintences.
I love it too but I'm already starting to look at diesel flybridge options in the 35-40' range. You made quite a jump, going from 30' to 45'! Kudos to you!
