You are right on, critical habitat protection, let me know how that Scandia runs at 7 knots? I see the speed restrictions, no fishing god forbid if one got hooked, and many other things. Of course after the Sea Shepard showing the world how bad whaling is they will not stop until they feel they own the ocean and no fishing takes place. Stand by and thanks for bringing this up.

Perhaps the good senator should look into seeing that NOAA research vessel Captains are better trained in collision advoidance systems with humpbacks before he tries shutting down waters to fisherman.

What happens if the whale is dragging your lobster gear, then the World hears about through the Associated Press as the biologist from the Center of Coastal Studies chase and bounce their inflatables and slicing props into the back of the whale just about fatally wounding the anilmal? What happens to You?
