jigging up some late season bait?
So this past Tuesday, last week, we went out and ran into a crew who gave us some macks etc for livelining. I have used pogies before, but bought them or snagged them in the Bay. How does one go about getting live bait this time of year? any idea what it looks like on a Furuno NN3d fish finder? I feel like such a rookie - but you gotta start somewhere, right? ![]() - ATG |

Same places you typicaly find macks in the spring you will find them in the fall. Chum and sibikis do the trick for me. Fall the macks will be smaller and you will find alot of herring in with them. You could also get harbor pollock with them.
