That's what it is like up on Stellwagen bank right now! The cod and now the pollock as well have moved up onto the shallow ground on the bank, and are hammering the jigs on every drop. It just simply does not get any better, ever. We left the dock at 5:15am this morning in the fog, had a nice safe run out to the bank, and in less than 1 hour had a 4 man limit of nice white belly spring codfish, along with plenty of pollock as well.

Even "caught" a sparrow about 18 miles out, he hitched a ride all the way back to the dock. Great morning, back to the dock by 10am as our arms were about to fall off. Take a look at the bottom in this shot, it was paved with fish!!
