So I have my virgin canyon trip planned for the weekend. I know they can't predict the weather 12 hrs correctly .... this looks like mostly a swell event for the canyons.

Larry B what do you think?

That's what I'm afraid of. A couple of the models have the TS going into NC. The boat is a 38 Northern Bay. So we'll see.

It's also the OBMST.... that tournament is cursed when it comes to weather.

Looks to be a bit sporty for a long run. I would save it for better times and better weather.

Isn't NW the one wind direction to really avoid out there?

    FRI
SW WINDS 20 TO 25 KT BECOMING W TO NW 15 TO 20 KT. SEAS 4
    TO 6 FT.

    SAT
NW WINDS 15 TO 20 KT SHIFTING E TO NE. SEAS 4 TO 5 FT.

Any wind from the north and the boat stays tight to the dock when talking about Canyon fishing for me. Read Hotreels Jr post about his ride in, in a northerly blow......no fun.

Fishweather has no NW or NE anywhere in there maps. All SW 16-20 knots.

Actually reading on the Meteorologists forum that it's about to be downgraded to remnant low.
