If you could only fish two spreader bars, what colors would you use?

1st year for tuna and new boat with out outriggers for this season..

Can run two spreader bars and maybe something smaller down the middle...

Any thoughts on what would be the two got to have , can't leave port without colors for the bars...

Do most people run their spreads with different color stingers? I assume yes..

There is always a black bar or two in my spread. The rest I mess around with and see if I get lucky. But if I could only run two bars, it would be two black bars.

Do you gentlemen recommend drifting with pogys or trolling with the bars?

I've done better with root beer than black..Probably the minority.

For me overall in the last two seasons it would be Green/Brown rbw stinger and Rainbow with lipstick or green/brown stinger. Black would be my third. But changed the locations and you would have differant results, maybe. Capt. Eric

Black before Sept 20th and pink/blue dots after that date Black has a green/glow stinger and the Lipstick glow on the pink bar
Put 4" pieces of 3/8 pipe insulation in every squid but the stinger and you can run a bar way back in the middle off the t-top
