This thread made me laugh because I actually went OB with my cell phone and my wallet in my pockets this past weekend. I did the jump from the boat to the dock and realised in midair that I wasn't going to make it. I think I will keep the phone in the cabin for now on!

I lost a few too, so I got a remote Simrad WR 20, its a waterproof bluetooth autopilot,cellphone,gps and vhf. It links up to your cellphone via bluetooth so you leave your cellphone down below. If you have a Simrad A/P it's worth it. Same size as your phone too.
