Does anyone realize that Japan is one of the few countries that is buying US Treasuries, those same treasuries that are funding this regimes spending policies, that they control our debt!! There is absolutely NO WAY in hell, the US could say anything to Japan. We will be bent over by China and Japan for the rest of out lives !!!! Just another small by product of this countries staggering debt !! It now directly affects fishermen!

I made the same point in the cites thread. It is a very interesting point. The fact that they control the majority of our debt coupled with other political issues, just adds fuel to my thinking that these decisions have nothing to do with the fisherman. Its all about politics right now and who has the most poker chips.
