HOW TO POST PICTURES IN NEW FORUM LAYOUT

So here you go in your reply post

Click Manage attachments button and it will open up another window

then

Click the "add files" button upper right hand corner

Click "Select Files" button

another little window will open

Then select the folder or folders where your pictures are at and click to add the picture you want

Keep adding files/pictures till you have the ones you want.

VERY IMPORTANT you must click " UPLOAD FILES" or you attachments will be lost

Once they are attached you will see the images in teh bottom box of the manage attachment screen

Once you are done uploading picture click the "done" button on the bottom right and then you will be back at your reply to post screen and then from there press reply if you are done with the text of your post

Mary.....when I click on add files it asks for the url.......I know this probably sounds amazigly stupid but how the hell do I find the url?......I will check back later.....speaking of stupid Iam going to have lunch with my ex sister in law.....nothing like keeping it in the family

Does your little window show the following

at the top in the blue area

Upload Files from your Computer | Website


The "Upload Files from your Computer" you may need to click that so its knows where to search . You have both options

I will show you how to upload from a URL next

If you do not see what I am talking about X your browser out or refresh it and try again. We just changed some settings

url picture posting

If you have a picture on photobucket or around the web somewhere that you want to post you can copy the picture url if the website offers up the direct link to it.

You go through the normal process click manage attachments on your reply/post screen and

Click "add files"

Now it defaults to upload from your computer . You need to click website in the right hand corner of the little add files box and it will change to "url" address

In photo bucket and most other websites they have a "direct link" to that photo. They will have other options as well, the only one that will work is the "direct link" So copy and paste the direct link to that picture and paste it in the URL BOX in the file upload screen and then press "upload" and it will upload the imagine.

If the image does not upload and you copied the entire address this feature is not available for that website

while I was trying to find out what was wrong with attachemnts I had changed this and now I changed back. Kahi's issue might be related to this

Much easier and thanks for the help Mary and staff..........How about the arcade? not that it was a big deal but I may or may nit have passed an hour or 10 at work playing solataire lol.
