How did you fair in the storm?

Ended up with maybe 10" of snow total. Hard to tell with all the blowing and drifting.
Best part of this storm for me was taking the pup (Zoe) out to Bass Pro Shops yesterday afternoon for a few hours to do a little scocializing and a little "DAD" shopping . Got home just before it started to get bad. Perfect timing. Great Place to bring a pup. Lots of new smells, sights, sounds, friendly, people, and other dogs to meet. I think she had a good time walking around seeing everything and thought the fish tank was pretty interesting.

We did ok i think we got more than a foot. Power stayed on so that is a plus. Last year that was a nightmare when the big storm killed our electric for 3 days. Suns out beating down so we will see what it does. supposed to be in the 40's this week. That will make it a mess, we flood a lot here in the swamps of Jersey. Glad you faired well to the north.

Not too good at Marina Bay Quincy, the AM high this morning had the travel lift pier about 1 ft under, had to evacuate the live aboard dock at 3 AM, no power from 7am to 9am in north Quincy, watched a 33 ft sailboat sink in its slip-tried to pump it but something big let go and we couldn't keep up, it was getting too low to be onboard so we had to let her go. I've never watched a boat sink, not fun. The spine on my shrink wrap broke but the wrap is intact, easy to repair the spine. Its still blowin like mad here, pm high is supposed to be big too.

The seaweed on top of the 6 ft high snow drifts this morning on Quincy shore drive was a nice touch.

Just got in from shoveling about 18 inches. Now that I have taken off the boots and coat, it is time for the plow to come down the street and plow me back in.

I swear that the plow waits until I am finished and get warm before it blocks the driveway AGAIN!!!!!

P.S. My boys told me I should get a snow blower. I told them that shoveling snow was the reason I had them. And I didn't need a snow blower until they went away to college.... They didn't think I was funny....

Still coming down here in NH. Have about 14" or so thus far. The 9 m/o lab pup is loving it. He saw about a foot when he was 6 weeks or so where he was born on the VT/Canada border but besides that this is his first snow over an inch or two. He's having a great time.
