“The Hook-Up!" is having our 8th Annual Grand Open House and Spring Sale this Sunday April 19th from 9-5:30pm. We will have lots of specials, door prizes, and one day only sales. All surf rods from Billfisher and K-Armour will be 15-25% off. At least 10% off on everything. Some rods and reels are excluded. Come by and see all of the new inventory including the new butterfly jig rods from Shimano, Penn, and Star. Our store is completely stocked to the hilt and we are ready for all of your sportfishing needs. If you fish from a boat, we are the shop for you. We will be able to answer all your rigging questions and we have everything in stock to help you make all of your repairs on your squid rigs for the up coming season. Please bring an appetite because we will have an awesome spread of food and drink. Dan will have the smoker going all day with some trout, salmon, and pork tenderloin for lunch. It is also the first day of our kid’s fresh water fishing tournament. We have 4 separate age brackets and we will be awarding 45 trophies to our anglers. This is a “points” tournament so make sure you get a copy of the rules. Every child who enters gets a Tournament T-shirt and circle hooks. We will also hold an awards ceremony at the Seadog Restaurant in Eastham on Friday the 25th at 5:30 pm. The tourney is absolutely free for any child from 3 through 18 years of age. The fishing tourney runs from Saturday the 19th until Friday the 25th. All fish must be weighed in by 1:00 pm on Friday. Bring the family down and we hope to see you all there. The crew of “The Hook-Up!”
As noted last Saturday, I will be there with my reels. 10% off....... I should have waited on my outrigger stuff. Oh well, my list is still longer than my arm for required gear for this year.
See you Saturday and I sincerely appreciate your candid comments about spooling up the reels.
I'm sure you other guys know this already, I'm a little slower than most. Capt. Eric (Stew) tells it like it is and gives you the information that you need to know, not what the retailer thinks is in his best interest. That's worth the price of admission !!!
Now where did I put my bib, I know I'm gonna be druellin when I get there....
If any one is in the cape this weekend and needs to get their fishing fix, trust me get to The Hook Up. Spent the day there yesterday, picking up my new tiagra 80, and I have to say there is no tackle store where I would rather spend my money. Capt. Eric and crew does it right, and they have everything that you need. I spent about two hours there just checking all their gear out and talking a bit with Capt. Eric, while he was getting everything ready for the open house. Wish I could go, but couldn't get work off. If you go, you will not be dissapointed.
