10th Anniversary Open House at “The Hook-Up!”
April 17th and 18th from 9-5, Huge Tent Sale both days.

Come to “The Hook-Up!” on Saturday April 17th and Sunday the 18th and help us celebrate the beginning of our 10th year in business. Saturday April 17th will be our 10th Annual Grand Opening and Spring Open House. We will have sales all day and great food and drink so bring the whole family down and help us celebrate. There will also be door prizes and special sales as well as a huge tent set up in the parking lot with deep discounted items from clothing, to lures, to rods and reels, certain squid rigs and offshore lures, and line. This will be a two day event for the tent sale so you won’t want to miss the savings. Also on Saturday the 17th meet Al Gag and learn about his exciting new lure, the “Whip It Eel”. Al will be here for most of the day showing you how to fish them and introducing his new “Tuna Strong” jig head. This is a true “TUNA STRONG” jig head and you won’t bend this hook. Swing by and check it out. The tent sale will be a bonanza of savings and everything will be marked down at least 30%-70% off. Everything under the tent most go to make room for the new products that we have added. We hope to see you there. Dan and the crew has whipped up some stuffed quahogs and the lunch spread will be awesome so bring an appetite.

I would also like to remind you that during the school vacation week, starting on April 17th and running through the 23rd, we will be holding our 7th Annual Kids Freshwater Fishing Tournament. This tournament is open to any kid from the age of 3 to 18. We have 4 age groups and five fish categories as well as the Master Angler awards. This way the little kids compete against the little kids and so on. The tournament is free and every kid that enters gets a free tournament t-shirt and free awards banquet. This is a point’s tournament and kids win for the most fish and not the biggest fish. This year we will also be adding an adult’s tournament for Large mouth and Small mouth bass. You must be fishing with a tournament registered child in order to fish in the Adult tournament. We will be holding the awards banquet at Parkers’ Shipwreck Tavern in Eastham on the 23rd. Call the shop for a copy of the rules and we hope to see you on the 17th.

After the BIG GAME BASH, I have received numerous requests regarding us putting on any other Tuna Seminars this spring. If I get enough interest I will hold my “Tuna Tactics -101. How to catch a Bluefin Tuna.” This is an in depth, 5 hour seminar on trolling for bluefin tuna. We cover every aspect from tackle selection, to boat rigging, to NMFS regulations,to boat handling, to fish cleaning, to the end game, to boat equipment, to detailed spreads, and much much more. This class is designed to give you a jump start in this complicated fishery. If you would like to learn more please call the shop and leave your name. The cost for this class will be $125 which will include lunch and a prepared notebook filled with the course information. I will take $50 off the ticket price for any BIG GAME BASH attendee that wants to take this class. I need to have at least 15-18 guys and I will be glad to put it on. Thanks to everyone who came down yesterday and made our 10th Anniversary Open House the biggest event we have ever had at our Shop. It was overwelming with the support and good wishes. Thanks to my crew who cooked up some awesome food with over 200 stuffed quahogs served and pork tenderloin smoked to perfection...yummy. The tent sale is still gong on today with some great deals so if you're out and about swing on by. Thanks Capt. Eric
