I would probably have to buy my wife a car for christmas to have the balls to show up with 4 80w setups and bars the week before xmas. Having a wife who goes to the store with you is a big plus. I cant bring mine there just so she wont see the dough spent. I just tried to shoot down 17k in new kitchen appliances. The comment was something like "Just sellsome of that fishing stuff then." Viking range it is and now were even in my book.

i am very lucky. my wife picked out the rods to buy that day (including picking out all of the more expensive custom seeker blank rods, over their already very nice standard custom rods could she liked the tapers better).

she also picked out our next boat, which is 6 ft longer and 30 mph faster than the boat i originally wanted to get. and on top of that she rigs a ballyhoo way better than i do.


she does blow a lot of money on nail polish though!

You are a very lucky man. To have such a lovely wife who loves to fish is an awesome thing. Nina sure knows her stuff too. It was very nice to have met you both and good luck with the new boat. Those Yellowfin's are great boats! Hopefully we will see you both at the BIG GAME BASH in Feb. We had a great day and it was great to catch up with some old friends. kitebuz, no pics of the new ride yet. i have some, but i don't want to jinx it til the deal is completely done and all the papers are signed and the money has changed hands.
