hook type

smoked the little tuna today on the sw corner.i think greg on the foretuna had atleast 5.my boat the labrador had 2 then left to go bass fishing big fish had 2 then left.so did big kenny roth he had 2.live bait.so my question to you fishermen is what type of hook do you like when fishing a kite for tuna.what size make and why.

Don, 9 Gamagatsu Live bait--hooked bunch in the 60's, one to 76, and broke off (line break) one much larger.

Greg says bigger to wrap around bigger fish's jaw, so don't some of my other friends who spend more time out there than me.

As long as the smaller hook works, I think better. I hope I don't pay the price some where down the line.
