you need to form a working relationship with your broker. A lot of times your fish may do better domestically than it will flying. They're in it to make money too. If your fish flies and tanks they look bad to their people in japan. There are only so many A#1 cherries out there. The fish go to different markets based on their grades, size, demand over in japan and believe it or not the day of the week the fish will fly and the broker has little or no say on which market it flies to. with all that being said, I've always done well with North Atlantic Tuna (can't find their number right now) and they'll drive down and pick up your fish or make arrangements to get it basically where ever you are on the east coast

So many variables. I had a fish shipped and when it got there a long liner unloaded and drove the price way down.
