I was having dinner with a nice young lady I just met at FINZ when a pair of outriggers caught my eye. Well like a moth drawn to a flame I had to check out the boat they were attached to. You got a great spot there on the wharf. Great looking boat too. I bet its a fish killer.

Damn, I wish I was there to meet you and ruin your date. You know boat/fish/boat/fish talktalktalk. I like the spot but I went through 160.00 worth of zinc in six months at Pickering Wharf, that place is on fire! And that's with a bonding system and galvanic isolators. I can't wait to get out on my mooring.

Dunn, She is running twin Volvo KAMD43P's at 230 hp ea. not quite as much as Larry's (backman) I think he's sportin' some new iron. Turtle and the hare. Fissues will still do 30 downhill and no fish. Hey Larry,did you put those rod holders on the inside legs? If so what kind and model. Thanks,

I have D-4 260's - I used to have KAMD 42's. The extra 30 HP and mid range torque make for an entirely different boat. I'm only 2 knots faster at WOT, but have a much smoother and easier time at 25 knots with the extra HP.

I ended up with the Lee #3 tulip style vertical holders which had a 5 2/16" circumference. I put them cross wise between the inside 2nd and 3rd step on the tower ladders and rotated them outwards so the tips are over the cockpit center and away from the tower rod holders.

Finally after 10 year's I found the perfect setup for a jig and pitch bait rod
