Herring Meeting on Tuesday in Newport

Just a quick reminder that the NEFMC is going to be spending the second half of Tuesday discussion herring. As you know, a big amendment has been underway for over two years now, **** a focus on monitoring. Also deals **** river herring, groundfish bycatch, and a couple other issues. We are getting deep into the amendment process and so every meeting is becoming more and more important.

Meeting is at the Hotel Viking, in Newport, and discussion is slated to begin at 11:30. Hope some of you can make it there.

Hey Chris! I've heard a couple of "ads"on radio about bycatch issue, and the River Herring being clobbered by Pair Trawlers. Only heard it quickly,so don't know who is putting it on air, but I like the issue in public eye. Hope yr well, Tommy
