Thumbs up Hero Cam giant video

I just put this in the MBG Tuna Report as well but, here is a video of the new cockpit cam on the Al Dente. This little camera is awesome! $250, great picture, sweet view, 2.5hrs of record time. I am very impressed.

This is the fish we got Sunday. Fighting, harpoon shot, and hauling it up. Sorry, I am not as good of an editor as T...Full screen, volume up!

The camera makes it seem you guys are fighting the fish out of a 18 ft center console. Very cool.

What do you record to (camcorder, DVR, other)?

I've rigged up a similar camera that has wireless transmission and can be hung from a kite and controlled by remote control. Just haven't brought it out on the boat yet (I use it for kite aerial photography). I just haven't settled on how to capture/view the video feed (the C80 doesn't have video inputs).

If this is of interest to anyone, send me a pm.

THAT SOUNDS UNREAL!!!! The Hero records to an SD Card (32 GB). I want to see this kite cam!

I'm sure I could hang a hero cam from the rig as well - I might try to pick one up.

Here's what it looks like (from the web):

    Thumbs up

Sick footage, on this beast...nice work!

Forgive me for asking a stupid question, but I have not caught any 600lbs (yet), and I did not see a door in the transom - Soooo...what was the process to get that pig IN the boat?

    Either way, very nice haul.

Actually, if you look close, there is a door in the transom on the starboard side...but, it isn't big enough to fit a 90"+ fish through..sooo, we have a block and tackle that attaches to a bracket on the tower. We put a tuna bag on the gunnel and one in the cockpit so we don't bang up the fish sliding him up and then down onto the deck. I have some good vid that I will put up sooner or later.
