    Angry No luck

Only Mass Bay to SE corner. No luck these last days. Plenty of deep baitfish. I'll be down your way next week...

Went out the new break in Chatham early this morning. Seas were rough, wind was from the east. Could only make 6 knots into the wind, heading east. I was fishing alone with my 2 dogs hunkered down low. Hoped the seas would flatten as I got off shore. only got 5 miles off shore. Very few boats, mine being the smallest at 21'. No birds, little bait marked, no fish marked,no whales, no tuna seen. After a couple hours of getting beat up, I headed back to the dock. Made better speed with following sees....8-15 knots, surfing the waves. It will be interesting to see what happened at the Nantucket Bluefin Tournament.

    Yes!

The answer to your question is yes, I fish east daily and there are tuna out east, look for the flyers from 10 miles out to the channel. Most of my gear is in that water and I have been seeing enough fish(tuna) for people to work on. Very little fishing effort from the rec guys at this time. As for the last poster, the Ryder Cove 21 footer, what the f were you doing going out the new cut or any other cut this am, with nothing but easterly forcasted and a sea on.????

    CH,
I must have been nuts. Temporary insanity. Never felt in trouble, but was NOT fun.
