    Good Saltwaters Fishing Books?

In high school and College the idea of reading meant cliffnotes or Wikipedia book reports, the idea of Shakespeare and Fantasy and Fiction and all that junk never really did it for me. However, if I can't get out fishing I do enjoy trying to learn as much about fishing as I possibly Can. Whether it be watching ESPN and Versus, Tred Barta the crazy bast***, Youtube, or Reading a magazine or book. I'm currently working on The Fisherman's Ocean which I'm finding very interesting and I'm wondering if anyone else has taken up any books to try and give themselves a certain edge that they've found useful and would recommend.

While the books I listed are not "instructional," you can certainly learn from any book about fishing (I think).

you got to take what you can make out from these books and understand it, that's key!
I liked the book, Fishes of the Sea, by Dave Preble and the Doryman's Reflection, Paul Molyneaux.

"Working on the edge" by Spike Walker is the best book on commercial fishing I have ever read and one of my favorite books in general. Not going to teach you how to tie better knots or anything like that, but worth the read. Molyneaux's books is excellent as well. And while not a fishing book, "The Grey Seas Under" by Farley Mowat is one of the better ocean-related books you will ever read. I could go on but will stop there!
