It looks like UNH Durham tuna lab will now be in Gloucester and with lectures coming up on April 7th at 7:00 PM on tuna in the Gulf of Maine. I beleive this can only be a good being in a city where many fish are landed.
As I'm sure most of you know, Dr. Lutcavage has built a great relationship with the fishing community through her honesty and unpoliticized science. Personally, if she says we should stop fishing for Bluefin because we driving them to extinction, then I will believe her. Fortunately that's not what her science seems to be showing!
