    Girls and Fishing...?

I am not sure that I reeeaaally have to explain this one. Yes, No, Maybe So? Do you guys bring out your old ladies? Do you get them involved? Are they bad luck? Do they understand...hahaha?

    What is the general consensus?

I know personally, one day it's , "Why don't you bring me? I want to catch a tuna!." and the next it's, "I hate fishing..blah blah blah..I hope your boat sinks..we are done, back together, we are done, punch, kick, slap... I swear to god that if tuna fish put out you wouldn't like girls!!!"

I love having the ol lady come fishing. She loves it... She stopped comming some years back.
We had a slob dolphin probably in the 65 pound range bowed up. She hadn't seen it but I sure did. Long hard fight and the fish jumps close to the boat. She freaked out when she saw the size of it and dropped my 50... As it skittered across the deck I had to dive over the console seat to catch it before it went over, tering myself up but good in the process. The line cut on the engine and I invented words in a tyraid that lasted for what seemed like forever.
She started comming back a couple years ago and is back to loving it. Even had a ball in the Bahamas for a quick trip last year.
Mini, my daughter, is a different story. Wants nothing to do with fishing unless she has a friend who is into it. Then she's gung ho as they come...
Lady anglers are the best. They don't have a set of balls clogging their ears. No ego to get in the way of being instructed through it properly...

I bring my girlfriend, Kirsten, when ever she wants. Which was 99% of the time I went this past season. She caught her personal best striper this spring and took every picture and lots of good tuna videos as well. I don't like leaving the dock without her.

Personally I've been on the hunt for MY mermaid all my life. Actually caught a glimpse of her one late afternoon south of the tails, and when I find her I'll take her with me every trip. Does anyone know how long mermaids last out of water?

My first mate went 100 miles in one day at age 5-Marion/SWC and back. Barbies in every rod holder is a small price to pay. Too bad the chocolate bribe backfired and we had to head for the barn. I wasn't even up on plane and my buddie boat was hooked up....
Mom's not bad either-got her 100 Ton Lic-too bad she thinks fishing boring
