My wife was having a great time this year until we got caught in 5-7s on the bank and she was 8 months pregnant. She was pissed.

My son had sea legs before he was born.

My wife can fish. She has caught bonita when all the other guys couldn't. The only time she fishes is on Nantucket in Capt. Tom's boats.

One fall, I wrapped her a SWEETT Ron Arra 9' 1083 with purple, silver and black - her fav colors, at CMS when they still ran the wrapping clinics. She used it once. That was 5 yrs ago.

She won't come on the boat in the bay. She won't come on the boat tuna fishing. She's only been on the Jenny Lee once and didn't really like it.

While she hasn't said it, I think she might need upholserted seats, a plumbed head (other than a 5 gal bucket) and fit and trim.
    Upholstered seats?
There are to seats on the Jenny Lee!!
There is no sitting in fishing!!!

Maybe after our two little ones grow a bit older, she'll come fishing more. It might also help if I went out for 4 hours and not 12 or 15 at a time.

All things happen for a reason. Right now it is about learning the boat, ocean tuna fishing and putting meat on the deck. After that will be size of tuna, then will come the catch and release phase.

That seems to be how all my other types of fishing has gone.

I am all for girls coming fishing! More often than not they catch the biggest fish, which as long as the fish is caught I don't care who catches it.

Sometimes it better to be lucky than good or just bring Lady Luck herself onboard.
