What is going on with ICCAT and the ESA petition?
I agree that all user groups need to be on the same page for this battle. What is the strategy to fight the ESA listing?
Is it just a US thing, or other tree hugging countries supporting an ESA listing?
Is ABTA the only resource in this fight?

As of Friday Oct 29 the quota was at 459MT, up only 18MT for the week. The previous weeks had 64, 33, and 59 MT's so a big drop in landings. Assume this is because of the sea conditions and not a lack of fish, although reports from places other than Georges seems to indicate a very slow pick for just a few boats.

Still a lot of time left if the weather and fish migration locations give us a shot.

They're going to use the good numbers this year in their fight. There's no doubt about that and I can't gather what it's going to mean in terms of the listing.
