Get outta my spread

first time long time here guys...interesting happenings out east over the past few days..namely, had two groups of fisherman in cc's that seemed to deliberately troll right through my spread..also noticed the Tammy Rose (sp.?) seemingly following me around after I got tight to 150 class fish...plenty of water out there fellas, and these aren't money fish..next time your out east..STAY OUTTA MY SPREAD

I feel your frustration...just the other day, I had a boat with family run right over my 5 rod spread. they popped the right rigger and pulled at least 200 yds of 200 lb braid into their prop shaft seal (I hope).

Last year I had a guy in a center console run right over all of my squid bars. We were both heading in the same direction but I was off his starboard side..so I had the right of way..So he cut behind me. WTF! Some how managed to bump the boat out of gear and didn't get cut off. He then waved his arms up in the air as if I had done something wrong!

I don't know where these people come from....and I don't know what to do about them....

I tend to think of guys in my spread as skeet and one day I may just react after yelling "pull"...

I had a big name boat in a tourney a couple years back run up in my spread. Run over and cut off a fish then passed me and If i didn't pull out of gear I would have hit em... I guess he thought I was just some schmuck but I remember like it was yesterday and I WILL grind his spread as payback one day out of the clear blue... I'll let him hook up first though.

I don't understand how folks do that, I don't get out for Tuna yet but have always recognized a F/V who was trolling with whatever and steered clear.

5 years ago in the tails during the Tri-State, we had a Viking who shall remain nameless..troll right up into our spread starboard side, they had to have been looking at our shotgun, as the bow was not 25 feet off the long rigger.

I said something to my compadre/el capitan..like "should we wave them off", he kicked a notch and turned to port..they hooked up and I watched his face go from bewilderment to anger..

The next year we beat them to win in 2005..by 1/2 pound on a YFT.

So anyone who followed that tournament knows exactly whom Im' speaking about, I for one will never forget that disregard for "sportsmanship", especially during a tournament.

It was a basic low class manuever, by a good boat, don't know if the Cap was at the helm or not.

I followed you around after you hooked up to a fish? Did you call me on 68 to talk about it? Did I get too close to you? That is kind of an ironic statement that I followed you. Nice introduction. Capt. Eric
