I have fished with Eric Stewart 3 times and I find it highly unlikely he was the one doing any following and Eric anyone who has fished with you or knows you even a little bit can figure that out

When I first read the post I laughed and thought it was a joke. If it isn't it's a crock of bullshit.

Ah, your true colors come out. Been retired from Law Enforcement for 8 years and some snot nose "little kid" still wants to pout about being busted. For the record I had pulled my boat and she was all winterized and I was off to Maine hunting with my father, who is 82 years old. You are just a little winey coward hiding behind a key board. Man up and say it to my face. Right, I'll hold my breath. What a baby. Capt. Eric

This is the crap that Jer was just referring to in a thread he started in the "mix it up" forum. Guys, you should read it and take some notes here as to what the website is built for and why a couple of good guys have put all of this energy into it. The site is geared for "sport-fisherman", not jackoffs who pose as comm. giant killers and spew off at the rest of us for killing so called babies. Boy I'd really like to be locked in a room with a couple of you for a few hours. There would be no more of this bullsh*t thats for sure.
Heres an idea, come right out with it heavy-doody, give us your real name, and how many true monsters you've killed, and how much money you've made in your career. Sounds like you may want to give it up, sell your gear and move to queer street! I for one and very tired of your mouth and would gladly pick you up and move you to San Fran myself! Put you where you belong, ..............
    NOW GO AWAY POSERS!

I generally stay out of these stupid online arguments, they are neither productive nor worth the time to even respond to some half witted keyboard jockey, hiding behind his computer. However every once in a while a thread like this catches my attention.

What I find funny is how people come up with these great schemes to stir the pot and/or attempt to damage ones reputation or business online. I had a similar situation come up a few years back when I had a production problem with one of my products (which we immediately fixed), and a competitor and a dealer buddy of his, planted a bullshit thread in a very poor attempt to damage my reputation and business. This particular thread was immediately called out as bullshit, not by myself but by the members of the site who were familiar with myself and my company and the way we conduct our business

Now how does one determine a B.S. thread?

    1. The thread is started by a new member with 0 posts, and launches a grenade right off the bat or is inserted in the body of a post in a poor attempt to mask their true motives

    2. Actual Names/Boats are mentioned in the particular derogatory first post

    3. Other new members with minimal post pile on the bashing bandwagon (In this particular case with a completely irrelevant statement)

    4. Review previous post by these individuals, most likely to find similar pot stiring negative statements and comments

Eric is a big boy and does not need my help in this. However, the problem I have is with the bigger picture and what has been happening on this site. This is hands down the finest fishing forum on the web and there has been alot of B.S. going around lately and it needs to stop.

Now about Eric, The Hook Up and the Tammy Rose. I've been to the allot of tackle shops up and down the East Coast and I have to say The Hook Up is one of the finest well stocked and organized shops I've ever been in. Eric has had an instrumental role in educating fishermen on bluefin trolling techniques and tactics, and runs one of the most successful charter operations in New England and is a true professional. These successes have opened him up as a target because of either jealousy, small mindedness or both.

That aside who ever you are who started this thread come out from behind your chain link key board, and tell us who you are? What boat you fish? and what you do for a living?

My guess is none of these are going to happen and you will just fade away and play you childish games somewhere else.

    Thanks for visiting

Kevin, don't hold your breath waiting for the sackless pieces of $hit to answer any of your questions. These new commers who post very little and when they do they post negatively are No Asset to this site what so ever. I find it quite funny that some peoples lives can suck so much that they would take the time to create an account, log on, and trash members of a internet fishing site.
