Even though its a little negative its still good for the site. More people means more advertisers. Man what do they put in the water up there, you guys are crazy. I in no way defended HD but you had to jump on my ass just bcause i said something you didn't like or agree with. Dude, chill out, get away from the computor and go fishing or something.

Heavy Duty and Penetrator came to this site with only malicious intent. They have in no way shape or form shown that they wanted to become an asset to this site. I want you to go on and re-read every one of their combined 30 or so posts and then come and tell me whether I am wrong. If I am wrong I will retract everything I have said on this subject.

I never said they aren't doing any wrong. I think they are being dicks and they are just fishing for an argument. All im saying is that a thread like this is good for the site because it brings the lurkers out to sign up. I also said its funny how people can be so rude while telling others to be nice. you are all some curious who heavy duty is huh? i can assure you that none of you know him.....he is a commercial fisherman who makes his living on the water harvesting from the sea, everything from bluefin tuna to steamer clams.....he went to school on the lower cape and he even fished out of good ole rock harbor......but what giving his name is gonna prove...nothing

Guys I certainly do not agree with the way that some people here are attacking others, their are other avenues for that but are there really that many of you that don't agree with some of their points? In a real backwards way they are actually trying to stand up for their fishery. If anyone on here was feeling threatened in their livelihood wouldnt you stand up for yourself?

I am commercial. Always have been and always will be. Do none of you really think that we need to keep some sort of an eye to the future?

Every single person on this site whether comm or rec will get on their soap box and preach that the fishery is totally mismanaged, ICCAT is the worse organization ever, etc, etc. However most of you in this thread have the same thoughts going through your head. Rules are rules so I'm going to take what they say I can. Is that not the most hypocritical stance that one could possibly have? You think that the fishery is not managed properly yet you will just continue to do what they say you can, instead of having a brain and realizing that maybe we dont need that extra 100lbs of meat to give to our third cousins and that fish might be better off swimming in the ocean.

There also seems to be a bunch of guys on here that soon as anyone posts anything a bit off color of what your thoughts are you jump on them and tell them to go somewhere else. Well I hate to tell you that differences in opinion are what makes the world go round, but there are quite a few people that need a real good lesson in fleet and tuna etiquette. So yes, these guys are going about making there points in a bad way but in my opinion there underlying points can not be cast aside as easily as some of you have been doing.

One last thing. It seems as though their are a good majority of you that feel as though rec and comm guys need to show a "unified front" or we may lose our fishery. It thats the case can everyone just please stop posting "I love killing babies" or "Nothing gets me going like sticking a baby fish" Nothing good can come from posts like that especially when the enviros want to shut us ALL down.
