Chris, It was a pleasure to have you on board. You weren't alone. One of the other guys got sick.

It would have been nice to get into the fish earlier yesterday, but that's fishing.

I wish it would have been a better sea state. But we had a window and we went.

That's probably as bad as i'd want to be in it. Although if there were money on the line, I'd take her out in worse. I have confidence in her ability.

3' seas seem like FAC after you've been in it. I really like the way she drifts. the cockpit is as stable as it can be.

All and all after cleaning up last night, and thanks by the way for helping, all and all, besides 4 ceiling panels coming down and a problem with the fresh water system, that was the only real glitches. No worse for the wear.

I'll be looking things over this week, beginning this afternoon.

Looking for the next weather window,

    Mike

    How was the water

Curious how the water in Atlantis was? Was there a good break or just bait getting piled up on the wall due to conditions.

The water was 77 degrees and beautifully clear and silver blue. No break that I found.

If I recall correctly the break was north by about 8 miles and then a consistent temperature.

    Excellent report

Thanks for all the details. Sorta glad I missed this trip (due to the weather), but keep in touch. I think this water will be around through October and into November. I wonder if we'll see the hard break right at the edge that has meant great chunk fishing in the past during Oct./Nov.?
