Since everyone has been is such a good mood on this site lately I figure I'll jump right in...

There's a good chance I'll be out but don't try to call me on the radio because my radio will be off. I had to shut it off last year because I couldn't stand listening to the nitwits talk on the radio constantly and I haven't turned it back on since. I fish in silence with the sound of the waves, screaming reels, some talk amongst friends and occasionally some tunes and it is the balls. If I need to call the coast guard for something I'll turn it back on.

There's a good chance I won't be in your area as we've been doing pretty well elsewhere but keep trying me on the radio and I'll get back to you. Just keep calling.

If you do manage to find me please don't drive over my ballons or my spread if I'm trolling. Enough is enough this year.

If you see me hooked up please don't steam right up to me and drop down your live baits or troll around me. You won't hook up. The fish I hooked was the only one in the area.

Other than that good luck and have a great day.

LOL. I'm not sure if that is a "thumbs up" or the "finger". I'll take it as a thumbs up.

Everyone is so fired up. It's fun messing with people that have tuna fever.

Everyone needs to just relax. There have beens tons of fish around all summer and I would think everyone's freezer is well stocked. So now we're playing with house money here in October and everything is gravy.

I mean if you're chasing giants and there haven't been many around this year and now some are in and a fish is worth $2,500-$4,000 each then I could see being a little amped up. But if you're recreation category just have fun with it.

Definition of recreation:
Noun
an activity done for pleasure or relaxation [Latin recreare to refresh] Refreshment of one's mind or body after work through activity that amuses or stimulates; play.

The reason I shut off my radio last year is for relaxation and it works nicely.

As far as people running too close to me or my gear I got over getting worked up about it a long time ago. If it gets bad I just move 5-6 miles to another spot or to open water. No worries. If I put myself in the middle of a fleet becasue there is a bite on then no worries because I know what I'm getting myself in for.

And if people want to drive up to me while I'm hooked up and drop baits no worries. Having an audience is fun. I'm still waiting to see one of these boats hook up. That wouild be cool. The fish are 63-70" and we can easily drag them away from each other if the situation arises.

As far as secrets go the biggest secret to fishing in my opinion and putting up consistent numbers is having fun and having confidence in what you're doing. Only way to aquire this is through hard work and time on the water. Not the internet.

A boat having fun and relaxing will out fish a boat with guys on edge or flipping out for no good reason 2 to 1.
